PREFERRED FILES
Grandstand prefers Illustrator (.ai .eps .pdf), Photoshop (.psd .jpeg .tiff .gif .bmp) 300 dpi at actual size, and Freehand (.fh .eps). Please make sure all fonts are saved as outlines and all images are embedded. All files MUST be Mac compatible.
Absolutely NO CorelDraw (.crd) and NO PowerPoint (.ppt).

HELPFUL HINTS
Illustrator Files: Please make sure all fonts are saved as outlines and all images within the file are embedded and 300dpi.

Freehand Files: Please make sure all fonts have been converted to outlines and all images within the file are embedded and 300dpi.

Photoshop Files: Please make sure your file is 300dpi at actual size. Files needing to be increase in size for printing will have a decreased dpi. Please include all fonts used in the artwork. If your artwork is more than one color, please save with layers as we will have to separate the file before printing.

Mircosoft Word (.doc): Please include all font used when sending word documents.

VECTOR VS. RASTER
Grandstand always prefers vector art to raster. Vector art has the ability to increase size without becoming blurred. Vector art is also able to be manipulated for color separating purposes. Art does not become vector by placing a raster image into a vector based program. Grandstand can convert your raster image or sketch into vector for higher quality printing. Below are examples of low quality printed art turned into high quality printed art.

HOW TO SEND FILES
You can always email your artwork to your Account Manager. Files too large to be sent through email may be uploaded to our ftp site. Please contact your Account Manager for ftp username and passwords. An ftp client is necessary for upload. You may download free ftp client software here. You can find instructions on how to use this ftp client here.

SIZING
Your art can be sized for any glassware and/or garment. Let us know if you would like your artwork printed at a specific size, or we can size to our recomended imprint area.
